GIFT SET Ceramic Soap Dish and Sea Salt Soap

Looking for a thoughtful gift for someone who appreciates finely crafted ceramic homewares?

We've paired a ceramic soap dish with a Dorset sea salt soap to create this gift set.

The gift wrapped box contains:

FLORENCE CERAMICS Soap Dish in Seafoam Glaze
A ceramic soap dish with a pared-back, simple form inspired by Scandinavian and Japanese design principles.

Using a gently flecked stoneware clay, the dish is hand-thrown on the potter’s wheel by Florence in her Bristol studio, and features a raised, hand-turned foot-ring and a small hole for drainage. The dish is finished with a maker’s stamp on the base.

Glazed in "seafoam", a complex pale blue-green glaze with iron speckles showing through from the clay below.

Dimensions: 9.3cm x 1.5cm (approximately). Because each piece is made by hand, there will be slight variations in the dimensions and final effect of the glaze on each piece

About the makers
Florence is a ceramic artist making contemporary, considered tableware for daily life. She creates pottery for private clients, restaurants and a small number of shops, with every item thrown, fired and glazed entirely by hand in her Bristol Studio. Simple but not simplistic, her pottery is intended to be both beautiful and useful.

Farm Soap Co. handmake botanical soaps and natural skincare products in small batches in their workshop in Shaftesbury in Dorset, using traditional artisan methods. In autumn and winter they use plants from warmer climes for essential oils, and in spring and summer they grow and distill skincare herbs and flowers from an organic walled garden. Dorset Sea Salt and seaweeds are sourced from the shores of the Jurassic Coast
