DESCRIPTION

Based on the concept of a traditional flower press, this seaweed pressing kit has been created by Leeds-based Studio Wald.

Collect your seaweed from the beach, press it following the instructions contained in the kit, and then use your beautiful seaweed papers for art and craft projects, or to preserve memories of trips to the seaside.

A lovely and unusual gift for someone who lives near the seaside, or as a new activity to try on a beach holiday.

The press includes an all-important addition of waxed paper to prevent extra moisture damaging the corrugated card and sugar paper.

Printed in England and compiled in Studio Wald's Leeds studio.

  • Size: 15 x 15cm
  • Made from 6mm Maple veneered FSC board, Card and paper octagons, Nuts and bolts
  • Packaging: Greyboard envelope box (W16 x L16 x D4 cm) with product photo sticker. Bolts in envelope with instructions for self assembly.


This kit contains small parts and is therefore not suitable for young children.

About Studio Wald 
Founded by husband and wife team Jakob and Freya, Leeds-based Studio Wald create paper goods, products and prints, all made in England (many in Yorkshire). Wherever possible, components such as envelopes and cork are sourced from manufacturers in either England or Europe, and every product passes through Studio Wald’s studio for printing or compiling.
