Candlestick:
The candlestick is turned from a single piece of pale English Ash, a timber which is known for its striking grain.

Made from sustainably sourced, British grown timbers.

• The central hole fits a standard 7/8ths inch dinner candle

Candles:
A pair of beeswax dinner candles, joined at the wick. These candles are made in small batches using a traditional hand-dipped method.

Perfect for bringing a cosy glow to the dinner table this winter.

• Approximately 8 hours burning time per candle. 
• Dimensions (approximately) 22.8cm long and 2.2cm at widest point
• Made from British beeswax
• Made in Cumbria, England

How to use 
Ensure your candle fits securely in your candle holder. Trim the wick to around 6mm before lighting. Never leave a lit candle unattended.

Established in 2017 by Sean Best and Ellie Smalls, Selwyn House create functional yet beautiful wooden tableware that doesn’t compromise on sustainability. Their pieces are born from a love of great food and gathering together for simple feasts. Every piece is made individually by hand in their workshop in rural Northamptonshire, exclusively from trees which are grown in Britain and sourced in small batches from independent sawmills. Rather than the tropical timbers so often found in commercial woodenware, Selwyn House choose to use the fantastic hardwoods available right here in this country - hoping to play a small part in highlighting the beauty of British timber and the need to invest in its future.

About Moorlands
The small team at Moorlands in Alston, Cumbria have been making candles using a traditional hand dipped method since 1981. As well as shops, their candles can also be seen in film, TV and on stage at the Globe Theatre.
