Sustainable gifts and homewares made in the UK

We want to make it easier for you to find sustainably made products, and to support makers in the process.

You can order online from anywhere in the UK, and we'll carefully package and post your goods from our little studio in Walthamstow, London.

If you live nearby, you can also shop the range in person at one of our seasonal Land Tales pop up shops at Host of Leyton in East London.

Good things, made well

Land Tales is a place to discover work by people making things in studios and workshops all around the country.

You'll find products from a brilliant line-up of independent makers and producers, including potters, printers, weavers, wood-turners, jam makers, and more.

Some of them are keeping heritage crafts such as weaving and letterpress printing alive. Others are experimenting with new ways to make things.

We aim for a product range that’s small-but-perfectly-formed, so that we can support our makers over the long term.

Who we are

Behind the scenes day-to-day it’s me, Hannah, working from home in Walthamstow, North East London.

Before starting Land Tales, I worked for Tate, where I was responsible for planning gallery events. I now use those planning skills to organise our product range and pop up shops.

Sustainability

The idea for Land Tales emerged from a belief that it should be easier to buy things in a way that treads lightly on the planet.

As a brand new small business, we've prioritised sustainability from the beginning.
