Dark Chocolate Bar - Croissant

How it's made: Pump Street Chocolate have taken croissants handmade in their bakery, and captured their essence in a chocolate bar. First, they blend the butteriness of the croissants into the base chocolate and then augment it with crisp, browned flakes of baked croissant. They use cacao beans from the Hacienda Victoria, a progressive farm known for its stewardship of the land and its delicate fermentation, showcasing the mellow nuttiness of the Arriba Nacional beans.

It is the result of Chris’ years developing his skills as a self-taught baker and later chocolate maker, and Joanna’s enthusiasm for all things gourmande. Pump Street make bakery goods and craft chocolate in Suffolk, UK and are proud winners of a number of awards, including the BBC Food and Farming Awards Best Food Producer 2012, the Observer Food Monthly Best Food Producer in 2022 and the Kings Award for Enterprise 2023.
