"Courtship" Vase handmade by Celia Wood

Add joyful colour to the home: The design features a courting couple holding a flower. The sides of the vase feature decorative accents of pink stripes, polka dots and a scalloped pattern. With tones of pink, red, blue, teal and mustard yellow, the finished effect is charming and colourful.

Crafted by hand: The vase is made using a slab-building technique, with sheets of clay carefully assembled to create a flat front and back to the vase, which are approximately 147mm at the widest point and 195mm tall, joined with 50mm sides. 

Made from white earthenware, hand painted with a colourful underglaze, and finished with a transparent glaze for a glossy effect that catches the light.

Signed on the base by the artist.
