DESCRIPTION

Brighten your table with this handmade ceramic serving dish featuring scallop-shaped edges, made in Edinburgh by ceramicist and illustrator Celia Wood.

This dish makes a lovely wedding or housewarming gift for someone who appreciates whimsical and colourful hand-painted ceramics.

How it's made: Celia Wood hand-crafts the shape of the dish using a lightly sanded white earthenware clay. She applies a hand-painted underglaze in tones of cornflower blue, powder pink and warm coral, with contrasting cobalt blue details, and finishes with a transparent glossy glaze.

The dish is signed on the base with her maker's mark.

Dimensions (approximate): 22.5cm long / 17.8cm wide / 3.8cm deep.
