DESCRIPTION

Edinburgh-based ceramicist and illustrator Celia Wood has hand-crafted this impressive platter from grogged terracotta clay, white earthenware slip and a transparent glaze.

The design features a leaping stag, surrounded by floral and foliage motifs, in Celia’s signature expressive, narrative style.

This collectable piece would work well as the centrepiece on a festive table, or as a decorative feature on a mantlepiece or shelf.  It would also make for a unique housewarming or wedding gift.
