A wide-rimmed ceramic bowl, perfect for a bowl of pasta.

Handmade by Florence in her Bristol studio, each bowl is thrown on the potter's wheel, before being finely turned. The bowl has a slightly raised, turned foot ring which helps create a lightness in the hand. 

Ideal for pasta but versatile enough to be used throughout the day, whether for a generous portion of porridge in the morning, a soup, stew or risotto in the evening.

These pasta bowls are made from durable, gently flecked stoneware clay and glazed in Florence’s classic Oatmeal glaze, a slightly off-white neutral with tiny flecks of iron peeping through the glaze surface.

Each bowl is glazed on the inside and left raw on the outside, which creates a satisfying textural change.

  • Dimensions (approximate): 19.2cm across x 7.8cm high, Footring 6.8cm. Because this is a handmade product, each bowl varies slightly in glaze finish and dimensions (vary by around 0.5cm)


How to look after your bowl
Wash by hand with warm soapy water. If any staining occurs, for example due to contact with turmeric or beetroot, the stain can be removed using bicarbonate of soda and warm water.

About Florence Ceramics
Florence is a ceramic artist making contemporary, considered tableware for daily life. She creates pottery for private clients, restaurants and a small number of shops, with every item thrown, fired and glazed entirely by hand in her Bristol Studio. Simple but not simplistic, her pottery is intended to be both beautiful and useful. 
DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Standard Delivery - £3.95 (Free for orders over £100)
Deliveries are pausing for a few days during the Easter holiday. Orders placed between 15-21 April will be dispatched on 22 April using a Royal Mail Tracked Next Day Service, for delivery on 23/24 April.

Sadly, we are currently unable to deliver to customers in Northern Ireland due to the new GSPR guidelines.
