DESCRIPTION

A lovely ceramic bud vase with a Seafoam glaze, ideal for displaying a small posy of fresh or dried flowers.   

Made by Florence in her Bristol pottery studio, the bud vase is hand-thrown on the potter’s wheel in a flecked stoneware clay to create a rounded, bellied shape with a small opening at the rim.  

This little vase would make a thoughtful birthday or housewarming present. With its pleasingly pared-back form, it would fit well in a wide range of home interiors, whether traditional, contemporary or somewhere in-between.

It is glazed in Florence’s Seafoam glaze, a beautiful spectrum of pale colour from blues to greys to greens to creams, breaking taupe on sharper edges such as the rim. The shape of the vase allows the glaze to flow in a way that highlights the natural variation of the colour.

Florence is a ceramic artist making contemporary, considered tableware for daily life. She creates pottery for private clients, restaurants and a small number of shops, with every item thrown, fired and glazed entirely by hand in her Bristol Studio. Simple but not simplistic, her pottery is intended to be both beautiful and useful.
DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Standard Delivery - £3.95 (Free for orders over £100)
Deliveries are pausing for a few days during the Easter holiday. Orders placed between 15-21 April will be dispatched on 22 April using a Royal Mail Tracked Next Day Service, for delivery on 23/24 April.

Sadly, we are currently unable to deliver to customers in Northern Ireland due to the new GSPR guidelines.
