DESCRIPTION

Serve snacks, dips or small puddings in this deep bowl that's handcrafted from stoneware clay.

Made in England - Florence has handcrafted a small batch of these bowls especially for Land Tales, working in her Bristol pottery studio where she makes each piece on the potter's wheel before glazing and firing the kiln.

Soft neutral tones - The bowls are glazed in "Oatmeal", a soft off-white glaze that shows delicate speckles from the iron within the clay.

Textural and tactile - The bottom third of the bowl is left unglazed, with a warm toasty edge where it meets the glaze, for a textural contrast that celebrates the clay beneath.

Wash by hand with warm soapy water to prolong the lifespan of your favourite ceramics.

Florence Williams is a ceramic artist making contemporary, considered tableware for daily life. She creates pottery for private clients, restaurants and a small number of shops, with every item thrown, fired and glazed entirely by hand in her Bristol Studio. Simple but not simplistic, her pottery is intended to be both beautiful and useful.
