How it's made: Celia Wood hand-crafts the shape of the dish using a lightly sanded white earthenware clay. She applies a hand-painted underglaze in tones of cornflower blue, powder pink and warm coral, with contrasting cobalt blue details, and finishes with a transparent glossy glaze.

The dish is signed on the base with her maker's mark.

Dimensions (approximate): 22.5cm long / 17.8cm wide / 3.8cm deep.

Ceramicist and illustrator Celia makes whimsical, hand-built ceramic pieces from her studio in Edinburgh. She decorates each piece by hand using her signature expressive, narrative line work. Celia’s work has been recently featured in World of Interiors and Architectural Digest, amongst others.
