CELIA WOOD Winter Bird Ceramic Vase

How it's made: Celia Wood uses a slab-building technique, assembling sheets of clay to create a flat front and back. 

Made from white earthenware, hand painted with a colourful underglaze, and finished with a transparent glaze for a glossy effect that catches the light.

The design: Both faces of the vase feature a hand-painted flying bird, surrounded by little stars, all hand-painted in Celia’s signature expressive style. The side panels are finished with a simple foliage design.

Signed on the base by the artist.

• Dimensions:  104mm (widest point) x 110mm tall x 45mm (please note that dimensions are approximate due to the handmade nature of the piece)
• Care: gently wash by hand. Do not put in the dishwasher.
