Bring natural timber into your daily kitchen routine with this little wooden board made from sustainably sourced British oak.

A useful addition to the kitchen, this board can be used for chopping herbs, garlic, lemons, or as a serving board for a slice of cake or cheeses after dinner.

Selwyn House craft these boards in their Northamptonshire workshop from Oak that is grown in Britain from trees felled sustainably.

Slow grown, quarter sawn and air-drying results in fantastically characterful wood - it also makes for a strong, stable board that is unlikely to warp or split if treated with care, and will only get more characterful with age and use.

Finished in mineral oil, Selwyn House's Vegan Wood Balm and a (vegan) cork leather hanging loop. 

Each board is unique and shows the qualities of the wood - some have small knots or striations across the surface which differ from the photos shown here. None of these affect the structure of the wood.

About Selwyn House
Established in 2017 by Sean Best and Ellie Smalls, Selwyn House create functional yet beautiful wooden tableware that doesn’t compromise on sustainability. Their pieces are born from a love of great food and gathering together for simple feasts. Every piece is made individually by hand in their workshop in rural Northamptonshire, exclusively from trees which are grown in Britain and sourced in small batches from independent sawmills. Rather than the tropical timbers so often found in commercial woodenware, Selwyn House choose to use the fantastic hardwoods available right here in this country - hoping to play a small part in highlighting the beauty of British timber and the need to invest in its future.
DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Standard Delivery - £3.95 (Free for orders over £100)
Deliveries are pausing for a few days during the Easter holiday. Orders placed between 15-21 April will be dispatched on 22 April using a Royal Mail Tracked Next Day Service, for delivery on 23/24 April.

Sadly, we are currently unable to deliver to customers in Northern Ireland due to the new GSPR guidelines.
