A well-formed little cup, handmade in Sheffield by Pottery West in a Charcoal glaze.

These espresso cups are thrown on the potter’s wheel in an iron-rich flecked stoneware, and stamped with Pottery West’s maker’s mark. They have a pared back form with a generously proportioned yet well balanced handle.

Ideal for your morning espresso, or as a gift for someone who enjoys minimalist ceramics and strong coffee.

Glazed in Pottery West's Charcoal. Black but only at first glance, this is a semi-matte, complex and varied glaze of black, green, grey and occasionally brown tones that give it a character and handmade warmth.

About Pottery West 
From their Sheffield city centre studio, Catherine and Matt West design and make by hand their range of beautiful, functional ceramic tableware. Together with their small team, they use traditional methods of making, creating forms by hand on the wheel and with minimal tools, with glazes mixed from oxides and raw materials.
