About Jess Elliott Dennison
Jess is a food writer and the founder of Elliott’s; a community that celebrates simple cooking and life in the kitchen. She has written five cookbooks; Salad Feasts, Tin Can Magic, Lazy Baking, Midweek Recipes, and her newest book Weekend Recipes, published 1 August 2025. In June 2023, Jess sold her Elliott’s Cafe which is listed on Conde Nast’s Best Edinburgh Restaurant List. Elliott’s Studio, a beautiful green-fronted tenement building on Sciennes Road in Edinburgh is an extension of Jess’s home and where she cooks, writes and teaches.
