A pair of stumpie beeswax dinner candles, joined at the wick.

Made in Cumbria from UK beeswax, a completely renewable source.  When lit, these candles will cast a warming glow and release a subtle honey scent. 

A sustainable choice for a candle at the dinner table or to create a welcoming ambience in your home.

These candles are made in small batches in Cumbria using a traditional hand-dipped method. They are made by Moorlands Candles, who have been crafting candles in this way for over 40 years.

How to use 

Ensure your candle fits securely in your chosen candle holder. Trim the wick to around 6mm before lighting. Never leave a lit candle unattended. 

Various sizes of beeswax candle are available in our range.

The small team at Moorlands in Alston, Cumbria have been making candles using a traditional hand dipped method since 1981. As well as shops, their candles can also be seen in film, TV and on stage at the Globe Theatre.
