DESCRIPTION

Florence's popular butter dish has now sold out, but she is working on a small batch of new butter dishes which will arrive at the end of the summer. Pre-order now to reserve yours for a September delivery!

We love the rounded, bell-like shape of this generously sized ceramic butter dish with a speckled, offwhite glaze.

Handmade in Bristol by Florence Ceramics, it has a reversible base, a comfortable handle and is stamped with Florence's maker's mark.

Glazed in Florence's classic Oatmeal glaze, a slightly off-white colour with tiny flecks of iron peeping through the surface, breaking slightly darker on sharp edges.

The bottom plate can be used either flat side down (and therefore with a ring to keep the lid in place) or footring-side-down (which raises the dish a little and enables you to pick it up easily). The bottom plate features a gentle swirl mark which Florence makes with her thumb.

Holds a standard 250g block of butter.

Not recommended for microwaves or dishwashers.
